Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to Campus Connect, including the guest student mobile application and the staff administration portal. By using Campus Connect, you agree to these terms.

The service

Campus Connect helps a university publish announcements and events to students. Students may browse published content without creating an account. Staff users may sign in to create, schedule, publish, and archive content, and optionally send push notifications.

Accounts and access

• Student use is guest-first. No student login is required to read published content.
• Staff accounts are issued by university administrators. You must keep credentials confidential and use only the access granted to you.
• The university may deactivate staff accounts, revoke sessions, or change roles at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent university information or impersonate staff
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, including media you do not have rights to publish
• Attempt to bypass authentication, scrape non-public staff tools, or disrupt the service
• Use push notifications for spam, harassment, or content unrelated to university communications

Content

Staff-published content is provided by the university. Campus Connect hosts and delivers that content, including images stored in Cloudflare R2 when configured. The university is responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of what it publishes.

Notifications

Push notifications are optional for students. Enabling notifications allows the university to send alerts about published announcements or events. Delivery depends on device permissions and third-party push infrastructure.

Availability

We aim to keep Campus Connect available, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, failures, or changes outside our control. The service is provided on an “as available” basis.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information is processed in the student app and staff portal.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or if the university stops operating Campus Connect. Students can stop using the app and disable notifications at any time.
